This is a story about the water crisis in Sistan province in Iran. Hamon Lake near the border of Iran and Afghanistan dried up due to the extreme droughts over the last decade.
The villages in this area are facing a lack of water, especially in summers. Some of the villages are connected to the water supply network, however, there is not enough water for them in summers. As a result, there should be another approach to supply these villages with enough water. Some NGOs and governmental organizations carry the water to the villages and distribute it.
People in this area conflict with a wide range of problems, including health problems and shortage of job opportunities.
